The opportunity
We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Senior Azure Specialist to join a globally recognised leader that are set to embark on a complex enterprisewide IT transformation.
Joining a group of talented IT professionals you will take on an integral role as SME to design deploy and manage Azure services within a hybrid environment. Leveraging a strong background in Azure security and networking you will work collaboratively with various key business groups to design and deploy bespoke Azure solutions ensuring infrastructure and applications are secure and providing optimum performance capacity and availability. You will bring flexibility in supporting a BAU and project environment experience in spearheading largescale migrations and bring invaluable lessons learnt in ways of architecting and deploying scalable costefficient infrastructure on Azure.
To be considered you must demonstrate the following skills:
- Advanced skills in Azure resources: VNet storage databases VMs Resource Manager high availability etc
- Advanced knowledge and handson experience in Azure networking security & governance
- Automation & optimisation
- Strong experience in Entra ID conditional access hybrid AD
- Experience in setting up Microsoft Defender Sentinel
- Experience in MySQL MSSQL Azure Cosmos Azure SQL as a service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
