Job Description

InsightFS is headquartered in Jefferson Wisconsinwith 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. Insight FS has 430 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 50000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy agrifinance precision agriculture nutrient management energy feed grain and turf. InsightFS is part of the GROWMARK System an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100000 customers across North America and Ontario Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for providing customer service and marketing assistance to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization. Duties also include assisting with the daily operational duties at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Compiles data and prepares accurate invoices for all service work and products sold in a timely manner to ensure accurate receivables.

Reconciles inventory variances.

Provides quality customer service to walkin customers and on the phone.

Assists in maintaining accurate inventory and inventory position (booking) records for all products.

Processes payments and prepares daily deposit and balances deposit to daily sales report.

Supports all Managers/Salespeople with marketing activities.

Responsible for assisting with operations at retail supply location.

Assists with inventory and distribution of products.

Stocks and moves warehouse product and material.

Works with location manager on all safety and compliance issues.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OSHA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.

May be required to crosstrain and substitute for other administrative positions.

May be required to drive and run local errands as needed.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires an Associates Degree in a business or agriculture related field or the equivalent thereof and 2 years or more of office related work experience.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge collaboration communication customer focus decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.

May be willing to obtain and maintain a forklift certificate and a CDL.

May be required to work extended hours during busy season.

May be required to travel independently and overnight.

Occasionally exposed or required to:

  • Extreme weather conditions (hot cold wet etc.
  • Noisy conditions
    • Working conditions may include dust fumes chemicals and electrical hazards requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures
  • May be required to work at varying heights
  • Move up to 50 85 pounds

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
