Job Description

Sunrise FS isheadquartered in Virginia Illinoiswith branches in Mason and Cass counties. SunriseFS hasabout 200employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 2500 customers.The cooperative does business in agronomy energy grain tires irrigation and retail. SunriseFS is part of the GROWMARK System an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100000 customers across North America and Ontario Canada.

This position is an irrigation service laborer position done on a farm for a farmer. Workers will report to farms where they will inspect existing irrigation systems and make repairs as necessary. Workers will inspect diagnose recondition and repair irrigation equipment and document pertinent information. Workers will need to perform basic computing functions including the use of basic Microsoft Office products internet searches and all other company programs. Workers must maintain a clean work

area including proper care for all shop tools machines supplied work trucks and all agricultural equipment used on a daytoday basis. Workers must be willing to attend companysponsored training to ensure an advanced technical and product knowledge of all systems installed and maintained in the field. Workers are expected to operate in a professional and efficient manner at all hours including interactions with fellow employees customers and supervisors. Workers must follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. Workers will also operate agricultural equipment such as tractors excavators and forklifts to load and unload products and apply cropprotectant products and ammonia. During downtime workers must assist in regular facility/equipment maintenance keep good accounts of inventory and report when items need replenishing. Workers will move inventory as necessary to make it accessible for use in the field.

Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OSHA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply. GROWMARK will comply with the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act by offering temporary and seasonal workers to earn paid time off (PTO) at one hour for every 40 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours per year. Employees must work a minimum of 90 days before receiving their accrued time. Paid time off will not be advanced.
