Job Summary:
The Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicines mission is to provide outstanding cuttingedge clinical care research and stateoftheart training. The Department is seeking a boardeligible or boardqualified pediatric otolaryngologist to join the fulltime faculty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Clinical service in the field of Pediatric Otolaryngology with the primary location for this position being Childrens Hospital Colorado located at Anschutz Medical Campus as well as surrounding network of care sites.
- Teaching and mentoring of fellows residents medical students and other related trainees.
- Faculty expectation for regular academic/scholarship/research activities toward academic promotion

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:
Assistant Professor:
- Doctor of Medicine degree
- Board Certified or Board Qualified in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- If Board Qualified must receive Board Certification within 2 years of hire.
- If Board Qualified must receive Board Certification within 2 years of hire.
- Board Eligiblein Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license
Associate Professor:
- Doctor of Medicine degree
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Board Eligiblein Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- 4 years of experience at rank or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license
Professor:
- Doctor of Medicine degree
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Board Eligiblein Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
- 7 years of experience at rank or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are the same for all ranks:
- Opportunity to develop a practice emphasizing chronic ear diseases head and neck tumors or facial trauma but any and all specialty interests are welcome
- Enthusiasm for and ability to develop successful academic and communitybased practices

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range or hiring range for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
We note that the ranges below reflect the base (fixed) salary ranges in alignment with AAMC Benchmarks by each rank 25th percentile AAMC). Faculty total compensation which is variable based on production and academic output typically ranges between the median and 75th percentile AAMC with opportunity to exceed beyond the 75th.
Associate Professor: The salary range for this position has been established at $275000 $375000.
Professor: The salary range for this position has been established at $300000 $400000.
The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is nonexempt.
