Our client invites applications from Senior External Technical Sales Representatives to provide an outstanding service to all their retail clients through the achievement and control of the sales function by exceeding sales targets with the ultimate aim of achieving company profitability and objectives.
They are seeking 4 FOUR Sales Representatives on the road (but offices based in):
*Boksburg Gauteng
*Pinetown KZN
*Cape Town Western Cape
*Port Elizabeth
Duties & Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and application of the retail sales strategy and plans which contribute to the overall business objectives.
- Managing and controlling all aspects of customer relationship management.
- Obtaining new business and the effective management of the portfolios top retail clients.
- Maintaining sound relationships with existing clients and fostering the development of new clients
- Managing & controlling the progress of sales enquiries through to a successful sale.
- Providing assistance to finance department in respect of collections and communicating and assistance in resolving customer complaints.
- Developing gathering and sharing of market intelligence with all stakeholders.
- Effective use of SAP and attending to the assimilation of required reporting.
- Attendance in and participation of stock takes conference attendance and training sessions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Living in KZN Gauteng Eastern and Western Cape
Education MatricGrade 12(Added advantage: Certificatesin Sales/Marketing or relevant)
Experience 10 years sales experience which include new business development and key account management.
- Dynamic fast moving sales within retail building environment
- Travelling out of office environment.
- Experience within a Sales Environment Manufacturing COnstruction Steel Metal Building and/or Hardware Industry
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
Computer Literacy:Microsoft OutlookSAP
Additional:Drivers license Own reliable CAR(not negotiable) Car allowance and petrol card provided
Clear criminal record (will be checked)
