Job Description
Develop and implement plans for ageappropriate curriculum / Instruct students in citizenship and basic subject matter / Develop lesson plans and instructional materials / use a variety of instructional strategies / translate lesson plans into learning experiences / establish and maintain standards of student behavior / evaluate students academic and social growth / keeps appropriate records / communicates with parents / identifies student needs communicates and cooperates with other professional staff members / creates an effective environment for learning / maintains professional competence / supervises students in outofclassroom activities during the school day / participates in faculty committees and the sponsorship of student activities / uses technologies in the teaching and learning process / keeps informed of and complies with state town and school regulations and policies for classroom health and safety. Other tasks of equal or lesser value related to classroom teaching.
