The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking an Intern to support the Air Quality Technical Planning team with data quality assurance analysis and interpretation and modeling approaches for air quality assessments of the federal National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Successful applicants will have the opportunity to apply short and longrange planning principles complete computational technical analyses and modeling that support and explain local air quality issues and develop improvement recommendations. Additional tasks include developing material to communicate air quality aspects efficiently to the public and partnering with local governments to pave the way for project implementation based on analysis results. The planning area for transportation includes the 12 counties of Collin Dallas Denton Ellis Hood Hunt Johnson Kaufman Parker Rockwall Tarrant and Wise.
