Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our clients team in Pretoria. As a Pr Civil Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects ensuring their successful completion within the designated time frames and budgets. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the highest quality of work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from concept to completion
- Prepare design specifications and construction plans
- Stormwater management
- Sewerage and wastewater management
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects contractors and other consultants
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Prepare progress reports and documentation
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles design standards and construction practices
- Experience working on Townhouses.
- Proficient in relevant design software and technical tools
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
