Job Description

Our client in Midrand is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies industry standards such as ISO 9001 and proficiency in quality assurance software is essential. The role requires excellent problemsolving and analytical skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple brands. REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field
  • At least 5 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001
  • Excellent problemsolving decision making and analytical skills
  • A resultsdriven approach and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in quality assurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working under pressure and deadline driven
  • Ability to multitask across many brands

DUTIES:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure our products and development processes meet the highest standard of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with our suppliers production team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Visit supplier sites and assist operations by tracking documenting and reporting quality levels as well as CSR environmental and health and safety performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections errors and corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports for management.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Train warehouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Implementing appropriate Financial Controls to ensure that spend is appropriately managed and cost saving initiatives identified and initiated where appropriate.
  • Conduct inspections on products received.
  • Develop or update procedures for capture investigation and documentation of product complaints.
HOURS:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00
