Set in the breathtaking Cotswolds countryside this luxury weddings and events venue is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join their dynamic team. Known for its stunning setting and exceptional dining experiences this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a venue that combines creativity with tradition.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as the Sous Chef
- 40000 per annum
- Working an average of 45 hours per week (more in summer fewer in winter)
- Being a key player in a passionate and creative kitchen team
Responsibilities as the Sous Chef
- Supporting the Head Chef in leading a team of 3 to 4 chefs and additional freelancers in catering for up to 150 guests per event
- Helping to create and execute bespoke menus for over 180 weddings a year using fresh seasonal ingredients
- Showcasing openfire cooking techniques from succulent lamb chops and steaks to woodfire pizzas burgers and tacos
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation while keeping kitchen operations running smoothly
