Job Description
Prescient Edge is seeking anIT Systems Engineer (NRL Support)to support a federal government client.

- Salary range: $150000 $210000. Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.
Description:
- Review existing construction drawings with an initial focus on IT networking and communications requirements for a new Military Construction project (MILCON) located in Southern California
- Support Engineering Change Requests and Requests for Information as needed
- Coordinate for installation of 8 different classified and unclassified networks and 2 Telecommunications (phone) systems
- Building will house 250 seats; most seats will have multiple networks
- Create a recommended procurement list for any networks that require complete or partial replacement
- Work with Government points of contact to procure necessary hardware
- Anticipate 100 Level of Effort onsite in CA for first 6 months of this task then 5075 thereafter
- Coordinate directly with Construction team to include NAVFAC Construction Manager MILCON Project Officer end user existing IT team and contractors.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Senior Systems Architect or Engineer with strong Information Technology (IT) Background and Project Management experience
- Experience with IT and Security requirements for constructing a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
- Have an understanding of and experience with the DoDs Risk Management Framework requirements to achieve Authority to Operate
- Familiarity with:
- Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (Intelligence Community Specification (ICS) 705
- Committee on National Security System Advisory Memorandum (CNSSAM) TEMPEST/113 Red/Black Installation Guidance
- NIST SP 80034 Rev.1 Contingency Planning Guide for Federal Information systems
- NIST SP 800160 Vol 1 Rev. 1 Engineering Trustworthy Secure Systems

Location:
- Port Hueneme CA.
Required Security Clearance:
- Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
