Job Description
The Education Department seeks adjuncts in the areas of Early Childhood Middle Level and Secondary Education for both undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates with expertise in special education/disability studies literacy/ ELA math and social justice in education are of special interest. We are also seeking certified educators to supervise student teachers in elementary middle and high schools.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in the area of specialization. Three years K12 teaching or relevant experience. Some positions may require a valid teaching certification. Ability to participate in professional learning communities facilitated by the Director of Placements and Partnerships and Chair of Education at La Salle. We will make every attempt to accommodate scheduling conflicts when necessary. Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University. Candidates qualifications will be evaluated based on the specific needs of the course or supervisory experience. Clearances and appropriate background checks will be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in the area of specialization. Experience teaching coursework in higher education contexts.
