Design Architect / Designer
Calgary Alberta
Architecture & Design Firm
Salary: $80k $115k depending on experience
Hybrid Work Model

OUR CLIENT
TalentSphere has partnered with a well established and award winningArchitecture Firm with an office in Calgary to assist them in finding a high level Designer or Design Architect to join their team. This firm have an excellent reputation for highend and unique design and have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing both large scale developments as well as small boutique projects across residential commercial hospitality mixed use and first nations work. This firm are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they continue to produce award winning projects and provide excellent service delivery to their clients.
THE JOB
This role would suit a well rounded architect or architectural professional who is comfortable to work on all phases of a project including high level design work from schematics to design completion. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for great design work and will come from a background demonstrating this. The role will have you giving input through all phases of the project. You will be involved in a variety of projects across different sectors both small and large.
WHATS REQUIRED
The strong candidate will possess robust technical skills and be well versed in working with mid to large sized multifamily developments some commercial work and other project experience is an asset. You will be capable of working independentlyand responsible for project management and seeing projects through from schematic design through to completion.
Technical skills must including designing details drawing details producing full working drawing packages and construction documents and development permits.
In additional to good design skills. you must have strong Revit skills. Ideally you will be registered with the AAA or eligible to become registered and have at least 5 years of combined industry experience. Strong designer (non registered) will also be considered if they have a dynamic skill set.
