Job Description

Vacasa is the largest fullservice vacation rental company in North America. Our local teams are the key to our success and help us ensure our guests have a seamless stay. Are you passionate about customer service and love assisting people every day If so you could be the perfect fit for our Front Desk Specialist role! Were looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual to be the welcoming face for our guests vendors and homeowners at our local management office. In this role youll handle various administrative tasks answer inquiries and ensure a positive experience for everyone you interact with.

This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as 4/27/25 and work through end of season on or around 11/7/25. As a parttime seasonal position exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next.

Compensation

  • $23 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidates skill experience education and/or location.
  • Seasonal Bonus Details: $500 signon bonus paid out in two installments $250 after 30 days of employment and $250 after 90 days of employment

What youll do

  • Act as the first point of contact for our guests vendors and occasionally our owners within a local management office
  • Be responsible for taking incoming phone calls occasional outbound calls and responding to emails or chats on a daily basis from guests who have questions or concerns about a reservation statement or other concern
  • Assist with the creation and delegation of maintenance and housekeeping tickets (If applicable)
  • Verify unit availability to assist with scheduling vendor or realtor visits
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics such as guest satisfaction accuracy efficiency and inquiry conversion to reservations
  • Build and maintain business relationships and open lines of communication with other internal support teams
  • Other tasks as needed because every day looks different in hospitality!

The skills youll need

  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware laptops tablets and mobile devices
  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email phone calls video calls and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile fastpaced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Work environment and physical demands

  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday early mornings and evenings as needed
  • Ability to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to stand sit and walk for an extended period of time
    • Reach overhead and below the waist
    • Regularly push pull and lift up to 25 pounds
    • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
    • Bend stoop squat kneel and twist
