About the Role:
The Vendor Relations Manager is responsible for originating vendor referral relationships by soliciting essential use equipment resellers within the guidelines of the company and coordinating work within the vendor and sales departments. The Vendor Relations Manager will work closely with both senior sales management and contacts to prospect develop and foster strong business relationships between management vendors (both established and new) and customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Increasing leasing vendor referral business by establishing and fostering relationships typically through emails phone calls customer visits and attendance at industry trade shows and conferences.
- Establishing referral relationships by identifying and soliciting manufactures dealers distributors and independent equipment resellers.
- Anticipate and discover customer needs develop and implement equipment financing solutions through referral relationships.
- Collect and analyze information regarding customers income assets investments or debts while providing appropriate financing solutions after assessing customers individual needs.
- Ongoingly identify vendor referral targets.
- Work with existing vendors and/or customers to enhance their financing program solutions.
- Analyze structure and price transactions while partnering internally with Taycors Credit and Operations teams to help facilitate a successful transaction.
- Maintain industryrelated knowledge of tax accounting regulatory and legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with Taycors management team to drives originations and/or gross margin to team goals and objectives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Equipment financing sales required
- Transferrable book of business from $3M preferred
- Excellent followup and problemsolving skills
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interact effectively with industry professional organizations
- Comfortable in a fastpaced quotedriven resultsoriented environment
Education and Experience:
- 2 years plus of equipment leasing and/or financial services sales experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance or related field; or equivalent work experience
- CRM software experience a plus
