You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Radiologic Sciences at Boise State University invites you to join our innovative faculty for a rewarding career in Radiologic Sciences education. We are accepting applications for a fulltime 9month faculty position. Appointments will be made at the Clinical Instructor Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor rank depending on qualifications.
Department of Radiologic Sciences employs 8 fulltime faculty 43 adjunct faculty and 35 affiliate. The educational experience in Radiologic Sciences programs promotes health advocacy interdisciplinary collaboration lifelong learning and growth as a healthcare professional. Degree plans offered by the department are all at the bachelor level. Campusbased programs include diagnostic radiology diagnostic medical sonography magnetic resonance imaging computed tomography interventional radiology and interventional cardiology. Online degree advancement programs with clinical placement local to students include IR IC DMS MRI and CT. The department also offers a nonclinical online degree advancement program for students wishing to focus their studies for employee advancement opportunities. Proposals to add echocardiography vascular ultrasound and mammography emphases are currently before the Idaho State Board of Education for approval beginning 2026. The department aims to be the educational resource students need to meet their educational and career goals. The programs and students thrive due to the incredible support of our affiliate clinical partners and commitment of faculty and staff to maintaining a positive welcoming and inclusive environment to work and grow.
Endeavors of department faculty involved in research include radiation dose and detection devices MRI DTI pre and post repetitive head impacts postconcussive bloodbased biomarkers and cardiac rehabilitation program impact on occurrence of subsequent myocardial infarcts.

Bachelors Degree required for Clinical Instructor rank; Masters Degree required for Clinical Assistant and Clinical Associate ranks.
ARRT RT(R) credentialed at a minimum additional credentials preferred.
Competence in specific clinical practice area of diagnostic radiology additional modality experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an ARRT registered radiographer
Prior teaching experience in a JRCERT accredited diagnostic radiology program
Computed Tomography Magnetic Resonance Imaging Diagnostic Medical Sonography Vascular Intervention Cardiac Intervention or other medical imaging credentials
Three years academic teaching experience
Undergraduate and/or Graduate level teaching experience.

Salary commensurate with experience.
Our standard faculty contract is a 9month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly renewable contract unless noted that the position is temporary. More information about faculty contract and work days is available here.
