Job Description
School Lane Charter School is seeking an experienced Principal for our IB Campus (grades 712. This individual is responsible for supporting the integration and administration of curriculum culture and discipline within the school with the main focus of developing and maintaining effective educational programs and promoting the improvement of teaching and learning at the school. Other responsibilities include creating a longterm plan for student academic success cultivating leadership in others creating systems that maximize effort with minimal time and providing teachers with systems and tools for producing high quality inquiry based teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will have:

- The required functional and technical skills to complete the essential responsibilities of the assigned position at a high level of accomplishment.
- Strong communication facilitation leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional problem solving capabilities and take a proactive approach to manage possible future issues.
- Effective time management skillsto ensure proper planning completion of required duties and participation in school and student development activities.
- Excellent research writing organizational skills; ability to multitask prioritize and delegate.
- Understanding and commitment to inclusive schooling and build a culture that supports diversity and equity lifelong learning collaborative problem solving and international mindedness.
- Ability to develop and carry out actionable strategic plans to achieve schoolwide goals
- Ability to lead and facilitate teachers in datadriven decisionmaking processes utilizing assessment data to inform instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
- Proficiency in educational technology including the ability to evaluate integrate and implement emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning.
Other position requirements include:
- BS in Elementary or Secondary Education with a minimum of five years teaching experience at middle and/or high school level
- Masters in Education Leadership with a minimum of three years school experience in a leadership capacity
- Pennsylvania Principal Certification
- Prior experience with International Baccalaureate program a plus
- Desire and ability to engage in continuing education and professional development
- Experience utilizing data management systems to inform schoolwide decisions
- Experience with learning management systems
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and utilizing technology to improve school operations and student learning
