Job Description
Mitigate the interaction of high school and college students in a blended facility setting and maintain an emotionally safe environment for both. Recognize safety hazards and unsafe operation of equipment and be able to instruct students in proper use. Understand both High school and college rules and regulations. Identify improper technique and machine use and correct it. Communicate well with all types of learners at different levels of expertise. Maintain equipment found in fabrication shop. Maintain an organized and clean learning environment. Follow protocol to safely open facility and close facility at end of section. Inventory tools and equipment. Inventory consumables and prepare reorder lists for restocking. Provide emergency medical assistance when needed.
