As aPhysical Therapist in this position you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population ranging from birth to 18 years of age. You will provide evidencebased compassionate careto our patients inwithin ourCARFaccredited rehabilitation centeras well as opportunities to work in the acute care hospital.
Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge theory evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management. The therapist works closely with the patient family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Therapists also serve as advocates and promoters of health wellness and fitness to all stakeholders. They serve as educators and mentors for therapy students peers and other medical professionals. The physical therapist assists with department and program planning.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Physical Therapist. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization communication interpersonal relations leadership decision making and problem solving.
Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field.
Also prefer active participation within professional organization. Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
