Job Description
Location: Limpopo South Africa
Hire Resolves Leading Mining Client are currently seeking a Section Engineer to join our team at a Mining Smelter Plant in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mining engineering and smelting operations with a strong focus on safety efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daytoday operations of a specific section within the mining smelter plant
Ensure that production targets are met and that all equipment is operating efficiently
Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
Provide technical expertise and support to the production team
Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians
Requirements:
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
GCC Mines and Works
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mining smelter plant environment
Strong technical knowledge of smelting processes and equipment
Proven track record of managing a team and achieving production targets
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fastpaced environment
