POSITION OVERVIEW: The Learning and Development Specialist will be integral in advancing employee performance and engagement by designing implementing and assessing learning programs focused on onboarding compliance functional skills and leadership development. Collaborating closely with HR colleagues and departments across corporate sales and manufacturing environments this position will help cultivate a culture of learning that supports business objectives and enables employees at all levels to excel in their roles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and manage learning initiatives from start to finish. This includes assessing learning needs to identify skill or knowledge gaps designing and facilitating inperson and virtual sessions scheduling and tracking participation and evaluating their impact on performance and business outcomes.
- Create implement and evaluate learning programs and processes in the following areas:
- Functional Skills: Determine key functional skills provide training assess proficiency and recognize advancement to enable employee development.
- Onboarding: Enhance onboarding programs by equipping managers with tools and guidance to onboard employees effectively. Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and execute organizationwide onboarding initiatives.
- Compliance: Manage compliance training such as harassment prevention. Ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards.
- Assist in creating implementing and evaluating Engagement Core Leadership People Leadership and Talent Development programs and strategies.
- As needed or requested create implement and evaluate additional learning experiences for various employee populations and take on additional responsibilities outside of the daytoday duties of this role. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelors degree in human resources organizational psychology education business a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience creating implementing facilitating and evaluating learning programs and processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing sales or similar environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS - Relevant certifications in learning and development and/or instructional design.
- Created or helped to develop largescale training programs for a manufacturing facility sales team or similar environment.
