Job Description

PartnerStaffingis currently working with our client seeking a highly motivatedand experiencedEngineering Managerto join theirleadership team.

Since its inception they have delivered providing innovative custom solutions to the Energy Industry. With manufacturing facilities in Calgary AB they are a committed partner to develop costeffective upstream midstream and downstream projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the engineering team fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Oversee project engineering instrumentation and inspection processes.
  • Make recommendations and contribute to important decisionmaking on technical and complex aspects of projects.
  • Provide support and supervision to the engineering group ensuring the quality and accuracy of documentation packages.
  • Review and approve fabrication drawings and perform equipment and instrument sizing checks.
  • Manage client liaison and project management tasks including cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards including ASME section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 and ASME B31.3.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for equipment bids.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience in project engineering with a strong background in fabrication.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Strong decisionmaking abilities and experience with highly technical and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards including ASME sections and B31.3.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
