RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop a highperforming team focused on operational excellence and achieving strategic objectives.
- Shape and implement a comprehensive strategic business plan aligned with the companys values vision and goals.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior leadership and external partners to ensure seamless operations and business growth.
Operational Management
- Oversee daytoday operations ensuring efficiency quality and costeffectiveness across the agricultural business.
- Manage human physical and financial resources to meet organizational goals.
- Implement and enforce best practices and processes to optimize operational performance.
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage annual budgets ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Regularly review financial performance reporting on progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.
- Lead negotiations with key partners including product manufacturers and suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders including government officials clients and partners to strengthen business relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events public forums and meetings to advocate for the organization and build credibility.
- Foster an environment of transparency and open communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business operations including process enhancements cost reduction strategies and technology integrations.
- Promote a culture of innovation and operational excellence ensuring the company remains competitive and efficient.
QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES
- A postsecondary degree in Business Management or a related field.
- 1015 years of relevant experience in operational and financial management with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
- Strong leadership abilities including team management coaching and motivation.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and public speaking.
- Business acumen in areas such as budgeting risk management strategic planning and marketing.
- A strong analytical mindset with a focus on problemsolving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage change and lead initiatives effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving operational success.
- Resultsoriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
- This role is based in Lethbridge Alberta with the expectation of fulltime inperson presence.
- Candidates from Western Canada are preferred though relocation is possible.
