Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Health Care Administration Public Administration or equivalent related field OR graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
Masters degree preferred.
Four 4 years supervisory experience in a health care setting required.
Experience with mentally ill clients preferred.
Valid California Drivers License required.
Valid California LVN or LPT license Nurse requirement only.
First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
The Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks including creating and updating policy and procedures reviewing risk management and safety systems overseeing and coordinating quality assurance and utilization review activities. The Administrator supervises all departments (billing facility medical records) to direct and facilitate regulatory compliance and system analyses and reviews. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining positive liaison with the County and all members of the public as well as establishing positive community relations and contracting for needed services. Manages the overall daytoday operation of the facility.
The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a place where people experiencing a mental health crisis can go to be stabilized. These facilities operate 24/7 to provide crisis stabilization. It can be compared to an Urgent Care Center where people often go for a medical emergency instead of going to the hospital ER.

Patients may stay up to 24 hours Designed to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations the CSU will help clients to stabilize and will also provide referrals to other needed services. Transportation is provided as needed.
