Job Description
- Mantain a clean and safe work area
- Responsible for Machine Operation to produce finished goods
- Operate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.
- Perform equipment adjustments
- Mounting of cutting dies print plates and any other tooling required for each job.
- Perform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production run.
- Maintain documented checklist for quality checks ink monitoring and clean up.
- Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency.
- Help troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occur.
- Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occur.
- Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist.
- Identify and report any damaged tooling that needs repair.
- Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor.
- Maintain proper production reporting.
- Other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Bending lifting twisting on a continuous basis.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers other employees and managers as needed.
- Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Basic Computer skills preferred
- Ability to clearly differentiate colors.
