Job Description
The Mundy Companiesa leader in the industrial maintenance services and construction fields is currently hiringthe following for a longterm position in the Beaumont Texasarea:
PACKAGING OPERATOR
Successful candidates will have a minimum of one 1 yearof continuous and current experience as a Warehouse Technicianin a petrochemical industrial or manufacturing environment. It is the responsibility of the Packaging Operator. The Packaging Operator will be responsible for various types of equipment associated with the Packaging Area. Must be able to work rotating shifts NIGHTS AND DAYS.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must understand product identification and inspection as well as the collection and processing of inprocess product
- This includes wrapping and putting it in the collection box and running all IP up the bale hog before the end of shift
- Must collect spiral sings and put in diaper bags all IP bags are to run up bale hog during each shift and to be completed before the end of each shift
- Must understand the safe operation of the bale hog and strong arm
- Must understand ergonomic safety training on how to safely handle expander plugs
- Must perform all required housekeeping tasks for your designated area
The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing is also required.All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check preemployment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
