Your Impact:

  • As a Developer influencing outcome have the key modern languages under your belt. You are thrilled to get into all parts of the code as well as implement it.
  • The individual is expected to work under limited direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solution. Understand requirements and design for the build and deployment of enterprise applications. You know the modern approaches as well as where the landmines are.
  • You will be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT and will utilize your strong communications skills to do this successfully. Collaborate with our support teams and determine and provide inputs for effort estimation.
  • Provide production support that includes evaluate defects investigate cause and come up with solutions to address defects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in: Java /J2EE Spring (Spring Core Spring Rest Spring Boot) or equivalent programming languages (C Angular Python) Groovy a plus.
  • 1to2year(s) experience with Agile Kanban or SCRUM frameworks and experience working in modernized development teams.
  • At least 1 year of experience in databases: PostgreSQL MongoDB Sybase and experience working with complex SQL queries and Unix environment
  • Languages: Java 8 Angular Unix Shell scripting SQL Python
  • Modern Tools: Jenkins Atlassian Suite (Jira Bitbucket) Git Maven
  • Other: Spring Boot Docker Kubernetes OpenShift Microservices
  • Frameworks: Spring Integration Spring Web Spring Data Mongo DB

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and marketleading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $85000 $127000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
