Job Description

Skegness Distillery is looking for a Sales and Operations Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing sales of our regional brands and assisting with business/production operations.

As a Sales and Operations Executive you should work to satisfy customers needs and requests respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be determined to succeed with a customer serviceoriented attitude.

You will be working with our popular spirit brands including Skegness Gin and the flavours five times distilled Skeg Vegas Vodka Jolly Fisherman spiced Rum and Mrs. Riggalls Sipping Spirits. All are produced at our distillery in Skegness. Selling the brands into retail outlets and hospitality including pubs clubs and shops in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.

Skegness Distillery is a familyowned business with a retail shop customer events makeit gin and rum schools tasteit gin rum & cocktail sessions and production with Dora our 300L still. The business also has an awardwinning contract distilling section where we create recipes and produce for other brands.

You should be able to grow our business by building successful longterm client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve longterm success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Keep good digital account and sales records
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in sales or salesrelated environment
  • Handson experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software or contact management systems
  • Understanding of sales performance requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a practical problemsolving attitude
  • Either an understanding/experience of spirits or distilling or a curiosity to quickly learn
  • Full Driving clean licence as a vehicle will be available.

This is a crucial role in a growing business with great products Youll be taking it to the next level. If you have drinks industry experience so much the better. Based in the coastal resort of Skegness full or parttime and could suit semiretired or someone fancy a life change by the sea.
