Our Northeast Engineer Design Organization is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Mechanical group! This position will be based in Syracuse NY.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Application of various ASHRAE standards and Building codes in the design of heating ventilation and plumbing systems
- Perform design calculations size HVAC equipment size ducts design plumbing systems and work with CAD designers to prepare design drawings for municipal federal or industrial facilities.
- Develop specifications for procurement of heating units air conditioning equipment plumbing fixtures and piping systems and ventilation systems
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT preferred with intent to pursue Professional Engineering license
- 03 years of experience; internship experience considered a plus
- Must possess strong design skills in thermodynamics and dynamics of rotating equipment
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience working with Revit is a plus
- Ability to travel and work in the field as needed (may include overnight travel)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to devise approaches to problem resolution
- Ability to be proactive and take ownership of the task involved

Salary Range: $69000$71000 based on experience.
