Job Description
What youll do
The Principal Analyst performs a critical analytical & knowledge component as part of a highlevel project delivery team that executes contract optimization engagements.
Utilizing your expertise in SAP products licensing and commercials you will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial analysis and conceptual models to provide clients with logical scenarios and guidance to drive optimized costs and terms.
You will also be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the practice: supporting knowledge management training others and working credibly and collaboratively with distant/international team members.
What youll need
- 5 to 8 years experience within the field of SAP enterprise software licensing contracting and commercials. Specifically an understanding of SAP corporate strategy sales behaviors gotomarket approach products use rights and licensing is key to success in this role.
- Strong analytical skills use of conceptual models ability to recognize patterns while drawing and defending conclusions. Experience in areas such as cost modeling risk mitigation license/subscription optimization and cost reduction.
- Dynamic presentation skills and experience in presenting to clients at all levels (technical procurement and CLevel executives) plus the ability to think outside the box and respond effectively to questions. Experience simplifying complex licensing situations and commercial scenarios for all levels.
- Strong organizational & time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables & content for clients.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and produce logical conclusions.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 92000 USD 131000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
