Our Opportunity
Due to high demand and extensive growth trajectory we are looking for a passionateTechnical Sales Engineer/Estimatorto join our sales team. Located in Narellan some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to.
- Understand mechanical scope of work/s and review drawings.
- Offer technical solutions to our customers mechanical needs.
- Provide budget and fixed estimates/quotes from technical drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with customers on quote related queries.
- Work in a team to assist with key account planning initiatives including high level negotiations.
- Assist in high level submission tenders and proposals.
- Represent NEPEAN at industry & trade events.
- Work with management to build and foster strong relationships with customers.

The Person
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Possess a strong passion for engineering/ technical solutions.
- Strong experience in a similar role within the engineering manufacturing construction or mining industries.
- Heavy Fabrication and largescale machining exposure desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in either a trade estimating project management or engineering is advantageous.
- Role could suit an experienced tradesperson looking for the next step in their career.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Able to work autonomously and enjoys a team environment.
- Able to work with strong deadlines.
- Obtain a positive and professional attitude.
