Job purpose
This position will support PHINIA global FDM Manufacturing Engineering team
Key responsibilities
Develop implement maintain and improve manufacturing systems including equipment documentation gages and tooling/fixtures to optimize quality productivity and cost performance for Value Proposition Improvement Products (VPIP) Technology Road Map Products and Product Line Strategy (PLS) projects.
Specify select validate and implement new equipment processes in manufacturing plants and Tech Centers
Lead Look Across and Lesson Learned processes implementation and communication regarding Manufacturing Engineering quality Bill of Process OE and FTQ.
Identify and implement corrective actions to solve manufacturing processes problems through testing evaluation and analysis.
Provide functional expertise and resource capability to Manufacturing Engineers in all regions for Fuel Delivery Modules.
Support all regions with capacity planning and capability planning strategy W.T.M.W .
Support all regions pursuit teams regarding investment considered in customer quotes.
Support Direct Purchasing (GSM) with supplier problem solving.
Requirements
Degree in Electromechanical /Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering
5 years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer in similar industry.
Proficient in machine controls and logic programming (AB PLC Siemens PLC LabView C)
Proficient in mechanical design software tools (Solid Edge / Works AutoCAD)
Available to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 of the time.
Strong English communication skills 90 read/written and 80 verbal.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and selfdirected.
Proficient with Microsoft office (PowerPoint Excel. Word)
Understanding and experience in Measurement System Analysis.
Experience with MiniTab or similar software statistics software.
