Job description

Reporting to IT Network & EUT Manager EMEA the IT Infrastructure Junior Engineer will play a key role in our EMEA IT Infrastructure team. The role is based in Aliaxis EMEA IT Hub Wroclaw ul. Powstacw lskich 9 and may require 10 travelling across the region.

Role purpose:

• Provide effective operation support of the network infrastructure by enhancing IT service reliability and quality.
• Be a part of ISO certification supporting management of documentation.
• Support network operations devices and processes in EMEA region.
• Assist with incident management and ticket/documentation handling.
• Improve information flow during incidents.
• Provide effective operation support of the network infrastructure and work with the Service Desk and different stakeholders on effective handling of incidents.
  

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the network team in promptly handling network incidents.
• Review incidents received from the Service Desk and enhance operational processes and technical documents in collaboration with the team.
• Proactively monitor the environment using standard monitoring tools.
• Participate in daily maintenance and lifecycle management of equipment.
• Maintain inventory in the ITSM CMDB monitoring and backup tools.
• Perform analysis design implementation and configuration of information system infrastructures with team support.
• Stay updated on the current application landscape and future trends.
• Participate in division/regional project deployment.

Requirements

• An ITrelated degree is highly desirable (minimum: secondary education in IT; preferably MA or B.Sc. in IT or Telecom; graduate students are also welcome).
• Strong technical background with knowledge in infrastructurerelated topics such as networking switching security firewalls virtual machines (VM) and WiFi.
• Limited experience in system administration is a plus.
• Understanding of IT resource management principles.
• Experience in incident problem and change management is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for business across the region up to 10 of the time (several trips per year each lasting 25 days).
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career with the IT Networking infrastructure team.
• Good communication skills.
• Selfdiscipline and engagement.
• Logical approach to problemsolving.
