Job Description

This full time 3year apprenticeship is designed to provide you with the practical skills as a floor finisher at an entry level qualification.
Based in Townsville this apprenticeship is hosted with a highly recognised family business now seeking an individual who is fit and keen to learn reliable and hard working.
The apprenticeship will include :
- Receive and prepare floor covering materials
- Handle dangerous goods/ hazardous substances
- Read and interpret work documents
- Plan and cost flooring technology work
- You are able to further specialise in many areas like timber carpet concrete laminates vinyl
- Preparing flooring for new installations
Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm with overtime available
Requirements:
- Must have a genuine interest in this apprenticeship
- Have good communication skill
- Enjoy practical work
- Physically fit
- Manual Drivers licence
- White Construction Card
- Be able to pass a pre employment medical including a drug and Alcohol test
