Job Description

Qualifications
Masters degree in library and information studies knowledge management or equivalent from an ALA accredited institution required. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in integrated library systems including catalog management statistical reporting and fund maintenance. Knowledge of OCLC systems and cataloging standards. Proficiency in electronic resource management licensing and troubleshooting access issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications. Strong project planning organizational and analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication abilities. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment. Demonstrated commitment to service excellence. Able to apply effective problemsolving analytical and organizational skills to improve processes and address challenges. Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of and experience with WorldShare Management Services preferred. Knowledge of cataloging principles metadata schemes and emerging trends in library science. Experience with interlibrary loan and document delivery services. Demonstrated ability to supervise and support union staff effectively.
