Job Description: Theology TeacherClassification: FullTime PositionReports to: Theology Department Chairperson Job Summary:Fontbonne is seeking a passionate dedicated and faithfilled individual to join our faculty as a Theology Teacher. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a rigorous and engaging theological education while helping students grow spiritually morally and intellectually. The position includes the following responsibilities:Understanding and modeling the mission vision and values of Fontbonne and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston as a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of BostonFostering a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that respects and values the diverse backgrounds of studentsDeveloping and delivering curriculum that aligns with Theology department standards and policiesCollaborating with members of the Theology departmentPosting assignments using our online LMSEvaluating student work and maintaining gradebooksAssessing student progress providing constructive feedback and supporting their academic growth.Communicating regularly with parents and guardians about student progressParticipating in faculty meetings retreats and professional development opportunitiesQualifications: A Bachelors degree (or higher) in Theology Religious Studies or a related fieldA Masters degree in Theology or Divinity is preferred35 years of teaching experience preferred The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph and the Sponsored Ministries including Fontbonne Academy are equal employment opportunity employers.
