This position is a grade 8 with a minimum hourly rate of$16.03 and a midpoint of $17.82.Hourly rate offer will be commensurate with the education/experience in alignment with the Colleges compensation philosophy and the current CBA if applicable.

Job Summary:
An employee in this classification performs work of routine difficulty by operating
telecommunications equipment routing calls and assisting in communicating and reporting emergency situations to the appropriate department. Immediate supervision is received by the assigned manager.
Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1 year of switchboard experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Working skill in customer service.

1. Assist visitors by directing them to the proper person or department.
2. Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned which pertain to the job description.
