Job Description
PRN (As Needed)
General Summary
Performs the professional functions associated with the practice of pharmacy.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request pharmacist request or prearranged work assignments according to established policies procedures and protocols.
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and protocols.
- Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
- Additional responsibilities may include providing drug information drug therapy monitoring and medication use reviews.
Common Expectations:
- Maintains established policies and procedures objectives quality assessment safety environmental and infection control standards.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Must be a student attending an APCEaccredited School of Pharmacy. Required
Courses and Training:
- Must be a student attending an APCEaccredited School of Pharmacy. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills (oral & written).
