Position Description

As a Management Consulting Manager at RSM you will work with businesses in diverse industries while managing staff to deliver projects on time on budget and in line with client expectations. Working on numerous projects per year you will not only work on delivering the projects and developing the staff but also identify new opportunities to gain more work with each client. RSMs Management Consulting TMT (Technology Media Telecom) Advisory Group provides strategy and advisory assistance to improve the overall operational effectiveness of TMT organizations. Key service offerings include:

• Customer and Channel Partner Strategy
• Operational Effectiveness Assessments across key functions
• Business process optimization
• Business process unification
• Managed services Continuous performance improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead the of projects to help optimize all elements of a TMT company including but not limited to: Sales Operations Renewal Management Customer Success Services & Support Finance
• Expert understanding in SaaS company value creation and business operations including business process improvement postmerger integration endtoend automation technology architecture and strategy
• Foundational understanding of corporate finance accounting management reporting and business analysis
• Subject matter expert in crossfunctional business processes including: Lead to Quote Quote to Order Renewals Order to Cash Customer Success Customer Journey Services & Support
• Strong at bringing together crossfunctional teams aligning around decisions and making recommendations to executive teams on business improvements
• Drive highquality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
• Regularly involved in internal and external business development activities and identifies new opportunities through various channels
• Understand firm capabilities and ability to expand client service across lines of business
• Manage engagement/project financials
• Develop industry specialization and drive targeting marketing and training activities within industry
• Build client relationships and deliver quality client services. Oversee and drive multiple concurrent projects to completion and assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.
• Develop new products solutions and deliverables for the rapidly changing TMT industry
• Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive onthejob coaching to team members while fostering an innovative and inclusive teamoriented work environment

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree with concentration in Business and/or Corporate Finance
• Technology Media Telecom industry experience either with a consulting firm or direct within industry in an operational role
• Minimum 4 years experience working in a large organization professional services firm or CPA firm
• 2 yrs. experience leading and managing project teams from sales to project closure
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Executive presence and an understanding of stakeholder / client relationship management
• Ability to travel > 50 locally and internationally
• Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven skills as a team member team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation

• Experience in defining systems strategy developing systems requirements designing and prototyping testing training defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Experience in the development of teams and staff
• Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries
• History of collaborating with clients and other professional services areas
• Industry or profession focused certification (i.e. Six Sigma / CPA PMP)
