You will help students brainstorm draft and polish their college admissions essays. You will also assist them in completing online applications and help them track all of their college application materials (such as transcript and test score submission).
Youll track student progress and communicate with parents students and your Location Director (supervisor) about goals deadlines and expectations.

Availability to meet students consistently MondayFriday from 9am5pm over the summer and into the fall semester (midJune through the fall semester); there is a weeklong mandatory training in April
A positive and professional attitude
Excellent social skills with the ability to adapt to different situations while making students feel comfortable and supported
Currently attending or graduated from a 4year university
English literature communication studies and/or creative writing majors preferred and/or graduates/students with a large amount of writingextensive coursework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills
Friendly patient and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population
Summer availability from 9am until 5pm Monday through Friday from June first week of August; evening and Sunday availability for 11 sessions from August through December
