Job Description

Banquets is one of our most valuable and important departments dealing with many customers through the year.To ensure the function room is set according to guest expectation and Pacific Palms Resort Standards. To set up tear down and clean all space employed with Banquets and Conferences.

Responsibilities
  • Cleans Function Rooms Prior to Setup. Responsible for the setup & breakdown of all buffet and equipment set ups in all areas of the Resort. Sets equipment to Daily Work Sheet specifications. Provides required amenities as dictated by Banquet Department Standards. Refreshes meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks. Breaks down meeting rooms as soon as possible after end of function. Completes Special Projects as directed by department management. Moves convention material boxes programs etc. from resort receiving docks registration areas sleeping rooms or suites. Caring for the equipment. Accommodates special customer needs hanging banners for meetings and food/beverage functions

Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service practices Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures Teamwork: Works efficiently and effectively as member of a team; communicates and cooperates with banquet & property staff
