Job Description
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP.
- Collaborate with frontend developers on application features.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Work with MySQL databases to manage data storage and retrieval.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Debug and resolve application issues effectively.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Participate in daily standups and sprint planning meetings.
- Document development processes and maintain application source code.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and implement new features.
- Write and maintain unit tests for your code.
- Assist in the deployment of applications and updates.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Experience with MySQL database management.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of version control systems especially Git.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of web security practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
