Job Description
The Role
Were looking a Back End Python Developer to join the international team behind the development of a crypto exchange platform. Youll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable secure APIs and services that power the core of the platform. Youll integrate smart contracts manage wallet interactions and ensure seamless backend performance across blockchain and database systems.
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Develop and integrate APIs that interact with blockchain networks and smart contracts using tools like or
- Connect and manage wallet integrations to enable seamless user authentication and transaction flows
- Collaborate with the front-end team to define and support end-to-end user experiences
- Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases
- Ensure application security reliability and performance by applying backend best practices and blockchain-specific safeguards
- Monitor and support blockchain infrastructure (nodes RPC endpoints) where applicable
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Web3 trends especially DeFi protocols NFT standards and Ethereum ecosystem updates
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
- Solid knowledge of SQLAlchemy PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Proficient with Redis for caching and data handling
- Understanding of backend architecture API development and database optimization
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices e.g. Docker CI/CD cloud infra etc. will be a great advantange
- Nice to have familiarity with blockchain smart contracts or Web3 tools
