Job Description
Our Opportunity
NEPEAN is currently seeking a Store Person.These roles available are supported by our strong team based in Mackay. This position is responsible for the unloading loading dispatch and receiving of goods that come in and out of the workshop along with helping to improve the productivity and efficiency of the dispatch processes.
Overview of role
- Receive incoming goods and check for damage and for any discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Load and unload items from the truck and ensure all documents are correct.
- Process the assigned goods receipting duties as required.
- Manual Handling and other warehouse duties as required.
- Manage inventory (cycle counts quarterly and ensure that part numbers are relevant and maintained in stock location in the store.
The Right Person
- The ability to demonstrate a strong safety focus
- The ability to get yourself to and from work
- Team player attitude with the ability to handle complexities within the role
- Solid communication skills
- School Certificate or equivalent preferred
- Current drivers licence
- HighRisk Forklift Licence
- Store/dispatch experience 4 years
- Minimum of 5 years experience operating a forklift.
- Previous stores experience within mining manufacturing or materials handling organisation.
