Junior Software Engineer
What you will do:
As a Junior Software Engineer you will develop largescale (terabytes) distributed data processing applications to meet our clients critical and complex mission need. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary Agile development team wellversed in modern software development and utilizing cloudbased technologies to support our growing userbase in operations. You will work on a team responsible for largescale data manipulation data modeling data mapping data presentation data testing and data quality. You will leverage opensource libraries to extract transform and load (ETL) data as well as provide analytical operational database and maintenance support of Government data and associated systems. Your insight will be vital to navigate our clients evolving and expanding requirements as the Intelligence Community propels into the next age of innovation.
What you will need (basic qualifications):
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with as a software developer working in Java C or related languages
- Proven ability to work as a selfstarter with minimal daily oversight
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Nice to haves (preferred)
- Any experience with Linux Tomcat Jira/Confluence Jenkins GIT RDBMS messaging/queuing technologies ElasticSearch and/or Apache Solr
- Experience with consuming and creating web services additional JavaScript frameworks
- Experience programming in Go or willingness to learn
- Experience with Linux Jira/Confluence GitLab GIT RDBMS messaging/queuing technologies ElasticSearch and/or Apache Solr
- Experience with AWS cloud solutions serverless frameworks
- Experience with web application development and maintenanceusing Typescript and Vue Angular or React
- Experience with consuming and creating web services additional JavaScript frameworks
Active TS Security Clearance with eligibility/willingness to obtain an SCI and polygraph
