Job Description
We are hiring for one of our leading FMCG client.
What are the Key Deliverables in this role
Financial Outcomes
Supply/Availability (Sourcing) of all raw materials at production units with respect to production plan within the agreed inventory norms SLA and set timeline.
Sourcing price benchmarking to Market/Competitors RM Prices etc.Techno commercial negotiations and RM planning for foods manufacturing.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyersupplier power.
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Customer Service
Assess manage and mitigate risks.
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Maintain cordial relationship through frequent interaction with customers for ensuring long term business objectives.
Prepare and share timely business information with key inferences to all internal stakeholders on a periodic basis pertaining to financial / operational parameters.
Liaison with vendors & internal teams (QA R&D) for RCA of quality led issues and ensure closures.
Internal Processes
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Ensure buying is routing through proper Eauctions Ariba as per SOP.
Manage contracts and purchase order/s in SAP and securing necessary approvals.
Develop and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Innovation and Learning
Lead digitization of bulk review report against the plan to have proper visibility.
Collecting latest trends in the industry by effectively networking with internal / external
What are the Critical success factors for the Role
Masters degree in management/Commodities/food technology
8 years of experience in Agri Commodity sourcing for an FMCG company
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decisionmaking.
SAP Experience of SAP MM module is a must.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role
- Familiarity with the consumer goods industry and an understanding of its challenges and opportunities
Contract management to include all aspects (e.g. administer review manage file evaluate analyze and negotiate).; Supplier Negotiation and Relationship Management.Creative and effective problem solver sound and reliable judgment and unquestionable integrity
Good verbal and written communications with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
