About the Role
IVF Nurse Coordinator Registered nurse)
PART TIME / FIXED TERM Maternity Leave cover
CLINIC LOCATION Miranda City Fertility located in Kareena Private Hospital
The purpose of this role is to offer Independent quality care to patients and provide quality customer service to patients clinicians and other departments within the Fertility clinic and business.
Skills And Experiences
About you (criteria)
You will be patient focused compassionate supportive and a team culture promoter.
Ideally you will bring the following to the role:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursingor equivalent qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration
- Min of 12 yearsexperience in IVF Nursing is ideal
- Min 3years experience in health industry
- Experience in the field of ART (IVF) (advantageous)
- Ability to work as independently and as a team player
- Basic / Intermediate MS Office / Outlook skills
- Basic / Intermediate skills in Healthcare IT Platforms
- Ability to engage with patients and clinicians
- Change Management and Continuous Improvement skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge oflegislative requirements to apply to protocols policy processes within a healthcare environment
- A willingness to embrace City Fertilitys Mission and Values
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Conflict resolution and grievance selfmanagement
- Basic to Intermediate understanding of the reproductive system.
- Basic / Intermediate IVF terminology ideal
- Basic / Intermediate health industry terminology
- Highly Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork Skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving critical thinking decision maker
- Excellent time management
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Positive Self Awareness and ability to selfassess
The following would be highly regarded:
- FollicleScanning and/orpathology collection
- Donor and Surrogacy experience
- Experience in the field of ART (IVF)
- Current Basic Life Support or advance Life Support certification (or capacity to become certified)
Practices in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and functions according to the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards
