Job Description
Job Summary:
Dutch Miller Kia of Charleston is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our professional and dynamic team. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical tasks on vehicles including diagnostics repairs and maintenance. This is a fulltime hourly position in the auto industry located in South Charleston West Virginia. This is an individual contributor role offering a competitive compensation of $22 to $35 per hour paid weekly.

Responsibilities:
Conduct indepth diagnostic assessments and identify mechanical issues on vehicles
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes tire rotations and brake replacements
Utilize computerized equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues and recommended repairs
Complete all work in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining highquality standards
Keep detailed and accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shop
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
ASE certifications preferred but not required
Knowledge of automotive systems and components
Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
Strong problemsolving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
