Job Description
We are currently looking for a CNC Lathe Swiss Machinistto join our Swiss/CNC team.
Were Bal Seal Engineering and we create custom sealing connecting conducting andEMI shielding engineered solutions. Our canted coil springs and springenergized seals enhance the performance and reliability of customers products. Were more than a canted coil spring manufacturer. By applying our unique Bal Seal Canted Coil Spring technology and material science expertise we provide OEMs and tier suppliers everywhere with innovative customengineered sealing connecting conducting and EMI shielding and grounding solutions.
What differentiates us from other canted coil spring manufacturers is our more than 120 active U.S. and foreign patents as well as our desire to continuously create new solutions that enable our customers to propel technology forward. In many cases weve helped to reshape industry standards or set new ones. You and our customers will work closely together to rapidly apply new solutions even develop new materials in order to meet specific application and manufacturing needs.
This position exists to machine micro components on CNC Swiss Turn machines.

CNC Machinist
ESSENTIAL/MAJOR ELEMENTS OF POSITION
Sets up and operates CNC Swiss machines.
Produces medical housings in a timely manner in accordance with blueprints sketches
and work orders with minimal supervision.
Inspects and measures micro parts with general measuring devices and makes machine
offset adjustments.
Occasionally the incumbent will be asked and expected to perform various
miscellaneous and nonstandard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature
and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities Necessary to Successfully Perform this Position:
Ability to handle small parts
Able to read and write English
Basic math and the ability to read blue prints and work orders
Good communication skills
Solid troubleshooting skills
Education Level Desired:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior Experience Desired:
Minimum 5 years of operating and setup experience on CNC machines
Familiar with statistical process controls (SPC)

Pay: $16.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

The work environment conditions are typical of both an office and a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to moderate however hearing protection may be required if employee enters high noise areas as a part of their normal job duties.
