About The Company
Our client is a well-established family business located in Brendale Brisbane. About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out industrial sewing tasks in the production of custom tarpaulins. Youll be joining a team that values quality craftsmanship and is committed to setting you up for success through hands-on training and supportive onboarding.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Using a HF Welder to bond PVC fabrics
- Straight line sewing to join various materials
- Cutting patterns and marking tarps as per custom order sheets
- Straight line sewing of hems with and without seatbelt reinforcing
- Assembling panels of various shapes into large rectangular tarps
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical hands-on work and takes pride in producing durable high-quality products.
About You
Were looking for someone whos enthusiastic reliable and eager to be part of a down-to-earth team. While prior experience with industrial or heavy-duty sewing is highly regarded its not essential if youve had any exposure to sewing (whether through work personal projects or study) and are excited about developing your skills in a new career we want to hear from you!
Youll ideally bring:
- Ability to work with large heavy materials
- A team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A high level of physical fitness and readiness for hands-on work
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment
Full training will be provided with ongoing development for those keen to build a long-term career.
